About

Hi! I’m a person-centered therapist who provides a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for children, teens, and young adults to navigate life’s challenges. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, boundary-setting, and family changes. I believe in building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to express themselves. My goal is to meet each client where they are and help them build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and grow into their best selves.

My approach

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Through CBT, I help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, while DBT techniques support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy communication. My person-centered approach allows me to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I tailor these approaches to each client’s strengths and goals to help them build confidence, develop coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges.

What a first session with me looks like

Your first session with me is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I strive to create a supportive and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, identify goals, and discuss how we can work toward meaningful growth using approaches tailored to your unique needs. There is no pressure to have everything figured out; we’ll take things one step at a time.
